A STUDY OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY ON THE PERFORMANCE OF OFFICE MANAGERS  

Abstract

This research work was conducted to determine “A Study of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) on the performance of Office Manager”. The basic aim is to provide practical solution towards the re-engineering and sustenance of the office manager’s profession. The Researcher further directed the study on the formulation of major Research Questions, which were carried – out at Arfo Construction Company (NIG) Limited, Headquarters, Abuja. The Researcher used a Structured Questionnaire and Sampling Techniques for data collection on a sample population of fifty (50) course of the study, the Researcher made major findings as follows: (a) The re-training of office managers (b) Procurement of modern ICT equipment and recommended as follows: (a) The development of social and physical infrastructures within an organisation towards enhancing effective and efficient performance of office managers should be a priority (b) Every organisation being it public or private, profit or non profit should establish an ICT department in their various organisations.
