COMPUTER BUSINESS CENTRE

1.1   INTRODUCTION
 You will hardly find a major road or street in Nigeria today where you do not find a computer business centre, popularly known as business centre. You can setup a business centre in strategic location on or around the campus. All you need is station photocopy machine and desktop computer where you can offers people photocopying service, typing of project, graphic design and printing, e.t.c despite the high competition in this business, it is one of the most lucrative small scale businesses in Nigeria, because people will always typeset, and print, scan, photocopy and laminate their documents.  This is another great small business idea you can start with small capital. It is not only easy to run but it is also sustainable business.
1.2   DEFINITION
This is a business setup in which an individual or group of people can type, laminate, prints, photocopy and scan there document. It is also a place where one can acquire the knowledge of operate a computer system.
1.3   AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
It aims to objectively and rationally uncover the strength and weakness of an existing business

1.   Typesetting: this is an act of composing text / or display (caption, headline and subhead) reading matters into a computer (digital) or physical (matel) type suitable for the text’s intended audience
2.   Printing: this is a process of reproducing text and images using a master form or template. Or this is a process of reproducing what has being type into the computer out as the hard copy
3.   Photocopy: this is a process of making a photographic reproduction of  printer or graphic materials
4.   Scanning: this is a process of copying or picturing your document into the system, either to send as a e-mail or to edit the document.

with accommodation and equipments, you can invest as low four hundred and four thousand (N404,000)  in this business and much as one million (N 1,000,000) for a start up depending on the location you want to set it up and the scales you want take. You do not need to go for brand new equipments for a start if you do not have much cash (capital). But whatever you are going for that is not brand new, it is advisable you seek the advice of a repairer before you pay, e.g photocopy.
And if you do not have much capital for a start you can start with one computer first and if you cannot offers all the services yet because of capital, buy the equipment for the ones you can afford and drop others you cannot afford.
but in my case i am going for second hand desktop computer, that is fairly used computer system  other needed equipment will be brand new
1.7   SOURCE OF FUND (CAPITAL)
I am going to use my personal saving and loan from a co-operative society which I belong to. the reason why am considering the both is because my personal savings cannot buy all the necessary equipment to start with, but with the help of the loan all the necessary equipment needed can be purchase. The loan is a short time loan with payment duration of one year in which the payment procedure is to be pay back every end of the month.
