Adhesive has found a lot of uses in many industries and homes. In wood industry phrenolic resins and urea resins adhesives has been utilized in soft wood and hard wood plywood industry.

In wood worse, adhesives is used in attachment of woods together. (Shewry, 2000). Also on the construction of tables, the famica is being attached to the surface of the table by the use of adhesives (shewry, 2000).

Another area where the use of adhesives has played a vital role is in the field of bonding in paper products. Adhesives foe bonding labels, to bottles, cans, and book-binding and for scaling all sorts of packages and to well known (shewry, 2000).

In construction of houses, the role of cement as an adhesive wart mentioning and the insertion of floor tiles is entirely done with adhesives (shewry, 2000). Doctors and dentist are intrigued by possible applications of adhesives. Special adhesive are already in use to attach prosthetic deroure such as false ears or noses.

This involve the use of cyan ethyl acryl ate adhesive (shewry, 2000). A rapid setting polyurethane adhesives is promising for repair of incisions in cardiovascular surgor in animal experiments.

Also adhesives have been used as coatings to improve the bond between restorative materials and tooth caristise, (shewry, 2009)
