OBJECTIVE OF ADVERTISING

        The advertising objective must flow from prior decision on target market, brand positioning and the market programme.  Below are the following objectives.

1)     The aim of advertising is to reach people that are in accessible to sales people, sales people may not be allowed to reach certain top executives or those who make the buying decision, such people can be reached as they read in the papers or watch television or radio programme.

2)     It also open customer’s sales people and to acquaint prospect with the seller comply.

3)     It also increase sales of the product or services frequency of usage or increase unit of purchase.

4)     The aim of advertising is also to improve dealer relations.

5)     Advertising is also to enter a new geographical market or attract a new group of customers.

6)     The objective of advertising is also to introduce a new product.

7)     It informs and educates the people on how to make use of the product or services.
